Just 25 minutes north of Christchurch Airport and 3km off State Highway 1, is Woodend Beach Holiday Park. 55 acres of park-like grounds adjacent to reserve and a short walk to the beach, offering many recreational opportunities such as fishing, swimming, surfing and walking. Situated on the Pegasus Bay Walkway linking Kairaki Beach and Waikuku Beach and on the Arts Trail where you can visit artists working in their studios. Wineries, fishing rivers and golf courses are close by. Facilities include power and non-power sites, cabins, motel unit, kitchens, laundry, showers and toilets, several children's playgrounds, BBQ areas, internet access, bike hire, mini-golf, bird aviaries plus a shop.
