Travel 10 minutes north on State Highway 1 from Christchurch, turn at the Gateway Hotel in Woodend onto Woodend Beach Road past the Christian Camp to the end of the road where you will find us amongst large established trees and gardens.

Situated beside a lovely sandy swimming and surfing beach, and surrounded by an established pine and native forest. Located half way along the Pegasus Bay Walkway linking Kairaki Beach and Waikuku Beach you can walk or bike the track and then if you want return along the beach. Close to wineries such as Waipara Springs Wines, Pegasus Wines and Mudhouse Winery and Waimakariri River and the Ashley River which are renowned for their fishing and whitebaiting. Minutes from the Pegasus Golf Course and two other golf courses within 8 kms – Rangiora Golf Course and Kaiapoi Golf Course. Pegasus Town is 5km away and offers many activities on its beautiful lake such as kayaking and sailing. Woodend township 3.5 kms away has three restaurants, two takeaway shops and 2 bakeries with the Gateway Hotel offering a courtesy shuttle for diners.
